Alam Indah,
the first of our Alam hotels opened in 1995 with 10
guest rooms-each individually appointed in their own
style combining traditional Balinese architecture with
modern ammenities. Set amidst lush gardens, Alam Indah
is surrounded by idyllic views looking out to the sacred
land of the Monkey Forest temple. The secluded setting
of Alam Indah will feel like a retreat, yet the centre
of Ubud is easily accessible- just a 10-minute walk
through the forest brings you to Monkey Forest Road.
A complimentary shuttle car to and from the centre of
Ubud is also available on request. We offer an in-house
menu for lunch and dinner prepared at our Alam Indah
kitchen or the extended menu selection from Cafe Wayan
or Lake Leke may be ordered in advance. Over the
years, many repeat guests have returned to stay with
us feeling Alam Indah to be their special home base
while in Bali. |

Hibiscus: (45sqm) Upper level - 1 double bed.
a favorite view with ceiling fan and breeze.
Mawar: (45sqm) with air-con and ceiling fan. 1 double bed plus a sofa bed.
Just below Hibiscus. No veranda but large windows offering a splendid view to the valley.
Jepun: (48.7sqm) Upper floor, 1 Double bed with air-con and ceiling fan.
Day bed on the veranda can also be made up for sleeping.
All bathrooms in Deluxe Valley View rooms are similar with bathtub and holding shower.
Our Common Lounge space is located next to reception and the dining area.
A library of cultural books on Bali and Asia is available in our office.
For Yoga groups: we can clear the common lounge space to use for yoga practice.
A note
about steps: There are 30 steps to reach
the Alam Indah reception area from the car park and pool level.
All accomodation buildings are on the same level as the reception
except Gardenia Suite and Lily Room which are half way back
down to the pool level.
Those sensitive to steps may feel more comfortable at Alam Jiwa or Alam Shanti which is all flat surface.
